  • James Hodge


    Respected for his wealth of knowledge in critical financial areas, James Hodge is currently treasurer for CA and an Adjunct Professor of Economics at NYU. Before joining CA, Hodge was a consultant in treasury and financial issues, working with Greenwich Treasury Advisors and Treasury Strategies. Prior to that, he was an assistant treasurer at AT&T, heavily involved in the company’s financial restructuring. Hodge also served as senior vice president at Lexecon, an economic consulting firm in areas of economics, anti-trust, and other related issues.

    For twenty years, Hodge worked for IBM, eventually becoming its assistant treasurer. He held several positions, including economist and managing director of IBM’s International Treasury Service Centre. He was heavily involved in IBM's financing, risk management activities, and in the building of a global treasury.

    Hodge has been active in academia. He taught finance as an adjunct professor at Baruch College and is presently an adjunct professor in economics at NYU, teaching in the masters program.

    Hodge holds a PHD in Economics, an M.A. in Economics, and an M.A. in Public Policy from the University of Chicago, and a BA from Kenyon College.
