Tom Berquist, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Tom Berquist serves as chief financial officer of Ingres. In this role, he provides financial leadership to the company's three geographies—Asia Pacific and Japan; Europe, the Middle East and Africa; and the Americas. He also leads business development, finance, human resource, information technology, legal, and product management.
Tom recently joined Ingres after spending 10 years covering software companies as an equity research analyst. Most recently, he was a managing director at Citigroup and covered large capitalization software companies including Microsoft, Oracle, BEA Systems, Intuit, Symantec, CA, and BMC, among others. Previously, he was a managing director at Goldman Sachs with responsibility for its infrastructure and security software franchise. Tom started his Wall Street career at Piper Jaffrey.
Prior to Wall Street, Tom was a senior manager at Deloitte Consulting. In this role, he sold and led large software implementation projects for customers including Boston Scientific, Liberty Mutual, GMAC, and US Bancorp. His largest engagement in his six years at Deloitte Consulting was a multi-year project customizing and installing Oracle's applications on a worldwide basis for Honeywell.
Tom holds both a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minnesota.
