Richard Mosher, Vice President, General Counsel

Richard Mosher became vice president and general counsel of Ingres in October 2007. He is responsible for overseeing the company’s global legal function, from negotiating strategic partner and licensing deals, to establishing new corporate entities, to assisting HR on employment issues. Richard is also responsible for corporate governance related issues.

Richard has served as general counsel for several cutting edge companies. Immediately prior to Ingres, he worked for SNOCAP, Inc., a digital music licensing company founded by Shawn Fanning. Before SNOCAP, Richard served for five years as general counsel at Intellisync, a leading provider of platform independent wireless messaging and mobile software. Richard oversaw all aspects of Intellisync's worldwide legal function including SEC reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, mergers and acquisitions, technology and software licensing, and management of the company's intellectual property portfolio. In addition, he was a lead representative on behalf of Intellisync for the company's acquisition by Nokia in 2006.

Richard holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Pacific's McGeorge School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California at San Diego.
