Accreditation

In addition to the business development support available to Gold partners, Gold partners can gain “preferred” status through Accreditation.

Accreditation provides an additional program of structured training and certification that enables Accredited partners to be promoted on the basis of their exceptionally strong Ingres expertise.

Accredited partners are in the best possible position to secure and deliver Ingres-related business. Full details on the Accreditation process are described in a separate brochure.

Marketing

Marketing activities are key to enabling partners to successfully execute customer education and acquisition programs.

Partners are given exclusive access to secured extranet resources that offer a wealth of information on Ingres products and services, including Ingres support services. Additionally, the marketing framework developed with each organisation focuses on creating maximum exposure with an emphasis on strategic and tactical joint marketing campaigns and PR activities.

Ingres’s Development Environment

Consulting and System Integrator organisations that are at Silver partner level or above are entitled to receive and use Ingres software and documentation for marketing, demonstration and testing purposes, as part of their partner fee.

The Development Licence grants the partner certain rights in respect of their use of the Ingres software; primarily to enable them to:

  • Train their personnel.
  • Demonstrate the Ingres software to potential customers.
  • Develop solutions for customers.

Ingres Services

Ingres Services is the key to deriving strategic business value from Ingres partnership.

For Silver and Gold partners delivering Ingres projects, Ingres Services is the point for day-to-day engagement with Ingres.

The Ingres Services organisation is a worldwide group providing comprehensive project and technical support to ensure successful, repeatable Ingres-based projects.

Drawing on experience gained from over 150 individual projects, Ingres Services can advise and add value to a wide range of product, process and architectural issues from data migration strategies to process template definition.
