The Ingres Partner Program is designed to empower and showcase partners achieving success using the open source business model. The program is designed to help Ingres partners increase margins, reduce costs, and eliminate up-front licenses to make projects more affordable and give systems integrators a bigger share of the total solution.

The Ingres Partner Program is an integral component of the business strategy at Ingres. Ingres focuses on core product development to create significant related opportunities for Ingres partners in business consulting, project delivery, integration, and complementary products. The Ingres Partner Program provides a structured way for Ingres partners to access these opportunities. In addition, the Ingres Partner Program builds directly on the substantial experience Ingres has of working with and supporting all partners. Gold Partner

Gold partnership offers the maximum opportunity and support for building strategic global revenue streams, in return for significant strategic commitment to Ingres and joint business development goals.

Gold partners receive full project delivery support from Ingres Services and a range of world-class technical training and post-implementation packages.

In addition, Gold partners have an Account Manager who is specifically responsible for ensuring the commercial success of the partnership and is able to call on re sources from across the Ingres organisation. Joint business planning is thus the essential foundation of Gold partnership.

Gold partners are typically global organisations with a strong track record in delivering Ingres solutions, looking to secure large, long term, Ingres based revenu e streams.

Silver Partner

Silver partners benefit from a much higher degree of collaborative sales, marketing, R&D and project support. Silver partners delivering Ingres projects can re ceive full project delivery support from Ingres Services and a range of world-class technical training packages. Collaboration is typically on a regional or account specific basi s.

Silver partners offering complementary technology benefit from collaborative development of value propositions which can be jointly marketed and sold.

In this case, a long-term commitment to joint product/solution development is expected.

Silver partnership is also the starting point for software integration firms to progress to full Gold partnership.

Bronze Partner

With so many vendors in the market, prospective partners want to know which ones will truly add value to their existing systems. Bronze partnership provides the fr amework for Ingres and the partner to establish and promote a joint value proposition, without the need for formal commitments on revenue goals.

Bronze partners are required to commit to develop Ingres-related application within 12 months of their joining.

Ingres provides technical assistance to Bronze partners should they wish to develop their own Ingres-related addon or integration products. Bronze partners are sup ported primarily via Ingres’s website, partner extranet and an Ingres test and development facility.
